Standard

The Standard package is all you need to get your book up and for sale without spending a lot of money.  You’ll still have the assistance and prestige of a publishing company backing your book while you keep full rights to your work, now and forever.  We’ll also make sure your book looks professional, slick, and attractive.  We’ll leave some of the other tasks of publishing, web presence, and marketing up to you but we will include a free guide on how to best tackle those projects.

  • Manuscript Review
    This is the very beginning of the process.  We check your manuscript to make sure everything is there that needs to be.  We get a feel for your writing style and what we are working with.
  • Proofreading/Spell Check
    We have our professional proofreader go over your manuscript with a fine tooth comb, looking for everything from misplaced comma’s to misspelled words.
  • Style/Format Check
    We adhere to the Chicago Manual of Style when we go through your manuscript to make sure everything is in the proper layout.  We also make sure the format is in alignment with what Amazon and/or Barnes & Noble is looking for.
  • Ebook File Prep
    We optimize your manuscript for ebook publication.  A workable table of contents, proper sizing, file type and size are all things that we take care of.
  • Print File Prep
    We make sure you have proper formatting, page numbers, page size, front and back matter, font setup, and all the other details that go into producing your book in print.
  • Amazon page setup
    We build your Amazon page from the ground up.  Filling out the book description, posting an author bio, choosing the right categories, and generally making it attractive and functional for the end user, your customer.
  • Print or Ebook upload and proof
    We upload either your print or ebook version to Amazon.  We go through the entire online proofing process and take care of any issues that arise so you don’t have to worry about it.  When we’re done your book will be ready for print.
  • Search Engine Optimization & Keyword Research
    We do the research on your target audience and optimize your sales pages so that the people who want to read your book can actually find you online.  This is one of the most important pieces in the puzzle of becoming a successful author.
  • Developmental Editing
    This is where we go over your manuscript from a holistic point of view.  We make sure there are no plot holes, that your characters are well-rounded and consistent with your vision as well as ensuring that the facts in your book check out.
  • Copyediting
    Copyediting is similar to proofreading but on steroids.  Our vetted staff will go over every inch of your manuscript and make sure that the sentence structure is precisely the way it should be, that your voice is consistent through the whole book, that punctuation is exact, and basically make your manuscript is flawless.  This is a huge step to making your book look professional
  • ISBN
    We will provide you with a ISBN for your book that will allow it to be sold in stores.

 

(Optional)

  • For an additional $600 we can take your vision of what you want the book to look like and give it to our skilled graphic designers to make something that catches the eye and looks amazing.
  • If you are also wanting to publish both ebook and a print version you can add either one for an additional $199 without having to jump up to the Professional package.
